In Febraury 2019 Kelly Hunter took a weeks residency at Christ (deemed to be) University to introduce the Hunter Heartbeat method to the staff and students. Together with Flute India co-ordinator Ninad Samaddar, Kelly held workshops, seminars and pioneering sessions with autistic children. The plan was to continue developing the work and then the pandemic struck. During the pandemic, Flute have given online performances for autistic individuals and their families across India in a collaboration with Samatha Learning Centre. https://samathalearning.com/. Additionally Flute were able to offer online internships to MFA Drama students at Christ during the pandemic. The journey to bring Flute’s work to India continues.
